Homecoming
October 29th 2005
This year
marks the 13th anniversary of Delta Chi at ECU. We have had our ups and downs and trials and
tribulations but still remain the best fraternity on campus. We would like to invite you back for a
tailgate and social activity with your Fraternity. This year the Pirates will be playing the
Golden Knights of Central Florida.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00pm
but we will be having our event hours before that.
The chapter
will be having a pig picking and tailgate at the house located on 422
MLK Jr. Blvd. The events will be getting starting
around 10:00am with lunch served at noon.
The chapter will be providing the food and entertainment. Your families are more than welcome and we
hope to share another memorable weekend with you at ECU. Cost for alumni is $35.00 per plate, wife or
girl friend $10.00 and children eat for free.
This will help pay for the food, tent and chair rentals and a social
event that evening.
Those of
you who will be traveling several hours and need a place to stay, there are
many new Hotels in and around Greenville
to accommodate you. We are expecting a
large turnout so please be prepared to have one of the best times of your
life.

Alumni Initiation
The chapter
will be performing an alumni ceremony on October 30th. If you are an alumnus and would like to be a
part of the final phase of the Delta Chi ritual please contact the
Chapter. This will cost $25.00 to pay
for the alumnus pin. Many brothers from
our chapter have not yet been initiated as alumni and would like to have a
chance at being part of something special.
Chapter News
This
semester has started off well. The
chapter has 35 active members and 9 new associate members. We have 8 brothers living in the house on 422
MLK Blvd, which is the unofficial D-Chi
house. We are planning large
philanthropy and fundraising events. This years Homecoming will be the biggest and
best yet. Far more members are enjoying
the Delta Chi experience, and the chapter is taking brotherhood to a new
level. We have a new website which is up
and running, www.ecudchi.com. Brother Dean Flory
of Gamma Class has taken the new website a step above what are expectations
were. Over the
past 4 years the chapter has grown nearly 400% and we are constantly beating
expectations in every aspect of the college experience. The new members are constantly stepping up
and taking new roles, we are extending the road you paved for us, and are
constantly preparing for our future brothers.
